Ingredients for Pudina-curryleaves-groundnuts chutney/Pudina-Karivepaku-Palli pachadi
Ingredients:
3 table spoons ground nuts
1 cup pudina leaves
1/2 cup curry leaves
5 to 6 green chillies
2 red chillies
1 tea spoon each rai, jeera and urad dal
1 table spoon chana dal
1 small lemon size tamarind ball
salt to taste
1 tea spoon sugar or jaggery (optional)
2 table spoons of oil
Fry ground nuts without out oil
Method:
Fry ground nuts without out oil in a medium flame. Cool and remove the skin. Wash curry leaves and pudina leaves and keep them aside.
Fry rai, jeera, chana dal, green chillies and urad dal
Heat a table spoon of oil in a pan. Add rai, jeera and urad dal. Fry for few sec. and add chana dal. Fry until the dals turn to golden color. Now add green chillies to it. Fry and remove all the ingredients from the oil into a bowl and keep it aside. Now in the remaining oil add pudina and curry leaves. Fry in a medium flame until they are cooked. (it takes hardly 2 mins) and switch off the flame and allow to cool.
First grind the ground nuts along with the fried dals and green chillies

Add sufficient water and grind to paste
Now heat a tea spoon of oil in a pan. Add half tea spoon rai, curry leaves and red chillies. When rai starts spluttering add the thadka to the chutney.....Pudina-curryleaves-groundnuts chutney/Pudina-Karivepaku-Palli pachadi is ready..........Tastes good with Idli, Dosa or Upma.......Enjoy.............
