Aloo Sev (Bangaladumpa murukku)

Ingredients for Aloo Sev (Bangaladumpa murukku)

Ingredients:

2 potatoes

1 cup gram flour

1 tea spoon salt (as per taste)

1 tea spoon chilli powder

Oil for deep fry

Method:

Boil and peal potatoes.  Mash the potatoes well with out any lumps.  Now combine the mashed potatoes with gram flour, salt and chilli powder.  Do not add water.  Make a 

soft dough.  

Now heat oil in a pan.  Fill the dough in a sev maker and drop the batter slowly in the 

oil in a circular way.  Fry in a medium flame until golden color, remove with  a slotted 

spoon and drain on a kitchen paper.  

Let the Aloo sev cool.  Store it in air tight container.  Tasty Aloo Sev is ready...........
