Ingredients for Stuffed buns
3 potatoes (boiled and mashed)
1 carrot grated
1 onion chopped finely
1/2 tspn salt (as per taste)
1/2 tspn red chilli powder
1/4 tspn haldi
1/2 tspn dhaniya powder
1 tea spoon each rai and jeera
1 tbsp fresh coriander leaves finely chopped
1 tspn lemon juice
1 tbsp finely chopped capsicum
Grated Cheese 3 to 4 table spoons
2 tspn oil
butter for roasting the buns
Potato mixture for Stuffed buns
Heat 2 tea spoons of oil in a pan. Add rai and jeera to it. When rai starts spluttering add finely chopped onions and capsicum. Fry in a medium flame until the onions become translucent. Now add red chilli powder, haldi, dhaniya powder and mix well. Fry for a while and add the boiled and mashed potatoes and salt to it. Mix well and switch off the flame. Add grated carrot, finely chopped coriander and lemon juice to it. Mix well divide to 6 equal parts.
Bun being stuffed with potato mixture and grated cheese
Now take a bun and slice it into two horizontal pieces. Place a portion of the alu mixture on lower part of the bun. Grate cheese over it and close with the other part. In the same manner fill the remaining buns.
Stuffed buns being roasted on a pan
Heat a pan. Spread some butter on it. Place the bun over it and roast until golden brown. Carefully turn over and roast again. In the same manner roast the remaining buns too.
Stuffed buns are ready.....Serve hot with tomato sauce.......Enjoy................
