Challapongaralu
1 cup curd (not so sour)
2 cups rice
1/2 cup barli seeds
1/2 cup sago (sabudana)
1/2 cup beaten rice (poha)
1 tbsp fenugreek seeds (methi)
Salt to taste
Oil for making dosa
Method:
Wash rice, barli, beaten rice thoroughly and add methi seeds, sago and curd to it. Add sufficient water and soak it for around 2 hours. Now grind it in the mixie to fine paste, add salt mix well and take the batter into a bowl, cover and leave it for an hour. Now heat a dosa pan. Spread a tea spoon of oil over the pan and make a thick dosa with the batter (like a uttappam) Close it with a lid and cook for 5 min. Cook both the sides. When the dosa is properly cooked remove and serve it with coconut chutny. This is a very good tiffen for morning breakfast. It is good for health too...........
