                                                           Ragi dosa


3 cups Boiled Rice

1 cup Urad dal

1 cup ragi flour

salt (as per taste)

Oil for preparing dosa


Grind Urad dal and rice separately in a grinder add salt and leave the batter over night to ferment. Mix ragi flour to this batter and prepare dosa on a flat pan.

Serve hot.......coconut chutney is the best combination for this dosa...(for more chutneys see chutneys and pickles...)

                                                                Coconut chutney


1 cup coconut

1 no onion

1  to 2 red 


1 no garlic

1 tspn salt (as per taste)

For thadka:

1 tsp mustard seeds

Few curry leaves

2 tspn  Oil


Grind all the above ingredients coarsely adding sufficient water and take it into a bowl. Heat 2 tspn  of oil in a pan add mustard seeds and curry leaves.  When mustard starts spluttering add the thadka to the chutney.
