Fry til (sesame), jeera,red chillies, dhaniya and ground nuts(remove the skin) seperatelly with out oil. Let the ingredients cool. Add dry coconut and grind to powder.
Wash and chop kunduru to thin slices. Heat Oil in a pan for deep fry. Deep fry kunduru slices until crispy. Remove, drain and add the grounded powder, haldi and salt. Mix well. Heat a tea spoon of oil in a pan and add rai and curry leaves.
Fry and add the thadka to the curry. Garnish with roasted cashews. Kunduru fry (Dondakaya vepudu) is ready....Store it in a air tight container. Tastes good with rice or rotis.
