Bell pepper Monsters (A recipe for Halloween)

Ingredients

                          

• Bell peppers  2 or 3
  
• Onions 1
  
• Rice 1 cup
  
• Carrots 3
  
• Peas 1 cup
  
• Ginger garlic paste. 1 tbs
  
• Garam masala Powder 1tbs
  
• Oil 3 tbs
  
• Cashews 5-6
  
• Cloves 3 or 4
  
• Cinnamon stick 1
  
• Cardamom 3
  
• Asparagus 2
  
• ​Green olives or green grapes for the eyes 2
  
• Green onions or Asparagus for Horns on the head

Method

Heat oil fry Cashews ,Cardamom, Cloves and add Onions .  Let it fry until it is golden brown and add ginger garlic paste. Fry for few minutes and add vegetables except Bell peppers, salt and Chilies’ to taste. Let it cook.  Now add rice, garam masala, 2 cups of water and  let the rice completely cook. The rice is supposed to be dry so let the water completely evaporate.


Cut bell peppers on the top and remove all the seeds in side and microwave them for 4 or 5 minutes. Stuff the cooked rice. For eyes green olives or grapes stick it with tooth picks. Slit the mouth part with knife and put cheese slice like a tongue.  On the head cut green onions or asparagus stick it on the head. Fry some onions and put it on the top.  On the plate spread the remaining rice and place the Bell Peppers. Serve it hot.
 


You can stuff Bell peppers with anything you want like Upma or cuscus, like that.
