Egg dosa


Last time when I visited Vijayawada ......I recorded this recipe.  It was raining the whole day.  In the evening we saw people eating and enjoying the Egg dosa at the street end dosa point.  Immediately I thought of recording it........I hope you may like and try this at home.....

Ingredients

• Dosa batter
• 1 egg 
• 1 tsp grated ginger
• 1/2 tsp jeera
• Chopped onions 2 table spoons
• 1 tsp chopped green chillis
• 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
• Salt is already added to the batter so we are not using salt 
• ​Oil for frying the dosa

Method

Heat a dosa pan.  Spread the dosa batter with a laddle.  Sprinkle the chopped onions, grated ginger, chopped green chillis and jeera.  Now break an egg and spread evenly over the dosa.  Add red chilli powder and  2 to 3 tspns of oil around and cook in a medium flame for 2 to 3 mins.  Now carefully turn the dosa and cook for 2 to 3 more mins. 


Once again turn the dosa and cook for few sec. and serve it hot with coconut chutney or tomato chutney.
