Method

How to make Tanjore paintings   

Material Requied.
1.Muck (combination of arabic gum,talcum powder and chalk powder.
2.Gold foil {22}karat
3.Semi precious stones
4.Poster colours,fevicol and water
5.Termite proof plywood board.

Method:

Select the picture,trace the design with the help of carbon on the board.  First paste the stones with fevicol.  Fill the muck wherever required.  Let it dry for 2 days.  On that muck paste the gold foil without any folds,peal the gold foil on the stones so that stones are visible. Colour the picture with poster colours and frame it.
Note. for good effect muck should be applied 5 times for the 3d effect.
