Corn Vada/Mokkajonna vada/Bhutte ke vade

Ingredients

                          

• 2 Medium size corns ( around 2 cups of Fresh corn kernels) 
  
• 1/2 inch ginger
  
• 2 to 3 green chillies
  
• 1 tea spoon jeera
  
• 1 large onion finely chopped
  
• 1 table spoon gram flour
  
• 1 table spoon rice flour
  
• 1 tea spoon salt (as per taste)
  
• few curry leaves
  
• 1 table spoon fresh dhaniya leaves finely chopped
  
• ​Oil for deep fry 

Method

Grind corn kernels, ginger, green chillies and salt in a blender coarsely. ( no need to add water)  Take it into a bowl.  Add finely chopped onions, gram flour, rice powder, chopped curry leaves, dhaniya leaves and jeera.  Mix well.





Heat oil in a pan for deep fry.  Divide the batter to equal portions.  Place a ball on your palm press gently (in the shape of a vada) and leave carefully in the oil.







Fry until golden brown.  Remove from oil.  Drain on a kitchen paper.

Tasty Corn Vada/Mokkajonna vada/Bhutte ke vade are ready serve hot with tomato sauce or any chutney. Enjoy !!
