Wash and peal Raw bananas.(Apply oil to you fingers to overcome the stickiness of the raw banana). Cut the bananas to thick slices as shown in the video. Boil a glass of water in a vessel. Add a tea spoon of salt. Drop the banana slices in the water and boil for 3 to 4 mins. Drain the water and keep the pieces aside.
Heat a 2 tea spoons of oil in a pan. Add chanadal, ground nuts, cashews, jeera, cloves, cinnamon and dhaniya. Fry in medium flame until the chana dal turns to golden color. You can feel a nice aroma of the fried ingredients. Now add finely chopped onions and green chillies. Fry until the onions turn pink. Switch off the flame add red chilli powder, haldi, salt, tamarind, ginger and garlic. Let the ingredients cool.
Grind the ingredients to thick fine paste in a mixie adding sufficient water. Now heat a non stick tava. Spread a tea spoon of oil. Apply the grounded paste to the banana pieces evenly on the both sides and place them in the tava. Spread some more oil around the pieces. In a low flame fry the banana pieces, both sides until golden brown. (Remember that all the masalas and the bananas are already cooked, So fry in a low flame)
Take the fried Banana pieces into a serving plate and garnish with fresh coriander leaves. South Indian special Raw Banana Masala fry Kacha kela masala fry (Aratikaya masala fry) is ready............Enjoy...........
