Clean the fish with vinegar or salt. Dry roast the dry masalas (Khus khus, coriander seeds, fennel seeds, pepper, clove,cardamom,red chilies, bay leaf and cinnamon) and grind along with roasted Onion with coriander leaves and lemon juice. Marinate the fish pieces in this paste for 2 hours. Take oil into a non-stick pan and swallow fry the fish. Simmer it for at least 20 minutes. Serve hot with onion.
